Vlad’s story

33 years old

Summary

In 2017, Vlad went to get his sperm count checked as he had been trying for a baby
with his wife.

The sperm check showed Vlad only had 20% moveable penetrating sperm which
was a very low count. He had an ultrasonic prostate scan done and was advised his
prostate was inflamed in many places.

This infertility clinic recommended a blood examination and penile shaft smear test.
The smear test discovered bacteria proteus was present. Vlad was prescribed some
antibiotics and the bacteria subsided.

After these antibiotics, Vlad’s sperm count measured twenty-nine and his prostate
was less inflamed. He was advised by the fertility clinic to drink more herbal teas to
continue reducing prostate inflammation.

One year after this in 2018, Vlad’s first real symptoms started. He had inflamed
urinary channels and burning when peeing. Vlad went to a urologist this time and
was prescribed antibiotics from which he felt some quick relief.

However, after this Vlad was noticing whenever he was drinking beers with friends in
the months that followed, he woke up in the morning with the feeling of knives in his
lower stomach and anus. The symptoms got worse through 2018 and Vlad was
having to urinate ten to fifteen times a day. Vlad went to another clinic and was given
some more antibiotics to take and advised he would soon be better.

By this time Vlad’s left leg was tingling a lot so he went to a nerve doctor who
explained it could be because of stress. He was prescribed some apaurin to reduce
stress. Vlad did not take these as he did not want to take anti-depressant type pills.
Vlad’s peeing problems continued and he had a burning whilst urinating. Several
other doctors prescribed antibiotics which calmed down the burning a little bit but did
not stop the urination frequency.

In early 2019, Vlad had started road cycling regularly but he had such terrible pain in
the anus and penis when cycling he had to stop the hobby. He was also working out
at a gym frequently but had to stop this due to feeling lethargic.

In 2020, Vlad went back to the original clinic. He did another prostate scan, this time
his prostate was even more inflamed and red in the image he was shown. He
also did a sperm analysis which showed E. coli bacteria was present and his
moveable sperm count was down to 5%. Vlad was given antibiotics for six months to
eradicate the E.coli, however after three weeks further tests showed the E.coli were
resistant to the antibiotics.

Vlad’s next doctor prescribed intravenous antibiotics twice a day, which resulted in a
more clean 26% sperm count. Finally, Vlad was happy having a better sperm count
and fewer symptoms.

Vlad started to eat normally and live normally but within a month his symptoms
returned. Vlad by now had strong pelvic pain, leg tingling, peeing problems, dry
mouth, red eyes, rash on arms, pain in the lower back, and general melancholy.
Vlad felt like he was not getting anywhere with urologists so in 2021 he decided to
visit different specialists. Vlad visited specialists for a colonoscopy, gastroscopy and
a scan of the abdomen. These checks showed Vlad had a spasm in his bowel and
Chronic Prostatitis.

After this Vlad visited seven different doctors who all said they could not cure Chronic
Prostatitis but were all willing to offer antibiotics.

Vlad was struggling for solutions by now and started to drink natural teas with
probiotics which his friend who was a doctor recommended. Vlad was also on a
healthy diet and drank no alcohol. After three months Vlad felt some relief and
everything subsided except penile burning up to Christmas 2022.

During Christmas in 2022 with family and friends, Vlad drank some alcohol and ate all
the festive food. His symptoms came back with extreme pain in the pelvic area.
At this point, Vlad did not know what to do and found Dr. Pavlos Georgiadis on the
Internet.

Treatment

In March 2023, Vlad came to visit Dr. Pavlos Georgiadis as his last hope. His
the prostate scan showed extreme prostate inflammation and the presence of
Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Morganella morganii and Chlamydiaceae bacteria. Vlad
has commenced his first few prostate massages and is already finding the extreme
pain is diminishing.
Vlad is planning to come back to Greece for a more intensive treatment program
now he knows there is a solution to getting his life back.
